Instructions: Keep the candle wick trimmed. This allows for a safer, cleaner burn. The first time you light the candle, let it burn for 3 to 4 hours so the melted wax reaches the rim of the container and prevents a tunnel from forming (burned wax in the middle and the rim with unburned wax).
WARNING: The container may become hot. Avoid touching it while the candle is burning.
- Follow the 6-foot rule: don't place lit candles near clothing, books, curtains, or any flammable objects. Place them on a stable, heat-resistant surface that's firm and large enough to hold the melted wax.
- Keep burning candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and any drafts.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Extinguish all candles when leaving a room or before going to bed. Extinguish them if the flame is too close to the candlestick or container.
- A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time.
- For safety, stop burning the candle when there is 2 cm of wax left in the container.
