Why reshape ceramics

At Reshape we aim to have a positive impact on the lives within prison community, creating equal and better opportunities for successful and dignifying integration in society. 

Reshape Ceramics helps us fulfill that vision, by creating unique and handmade ceramic pieces, transparently and fully produced by former and current people in our prison community, with all the profits being reinvested back to the company to scale the number of lives impacted.

RESHAPE REINTEGRATION PROCESS

1. SOFT SKILLS TRAINING

Still in Prison, everyone passes through a soft skills development program.

2. TRANSITORY EMPLOYMENT

We hire them (inside and outside prison), and we train them on the job.

3. INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT

Our professional staff, supports individually each of the artisans in various dimensions of their life

4. AUTONOMY

Once their life is stabilised, and they have the tools to be autonomous, our last task is to find them a new job.

OUR IMPACT

In 2021, Reshape Ceramics has trained and hired 3 inmates and 2 former inmates as ceramic artisans.

These artisans produced over 4500 ceramics pieces since October 2020.

In the last year, we had 514 orders, which covered around 43.6% of costs.

Thanks to our partners we can continue to help people from the prison community during their transition into freedom.
